We are a 100% volunteer run, not for profit registered charity.

Today, we rely on your support to help prevent animals from being surrendered.  We receive no government funding or support and rely entirely on the generosity of humans that donate to support our mission. To help us help pets, please donate today to Humane Animal Rescue Australia.

Subscribe for as little as $10 a month to help us keep saving animals and keeping them with their humans, and out of the shelter system. We can't do it without you.

Without hotties like you, we simply couldn't do what we do.

Your monthly support is genuinely game-changing for us — being able to forecast our donations means we can plan ahead and book in grooming, behavioural support, and food for animals who need it most. That means more families staying together, fewer animals ending up at risk in pounds, and a surrender prevention service that actually works.

HOW YOUR DONATION HELPS

  • Provide supplies like a collar, leash, or simple toy. These seem like small things, but when you add them up they can be a strain to struggling pet owners.
    $5 DONATION
  • Cover the cost of Parasite Control for an animal for a month. A lot of pet owners that are struggling often forego this, and it can lead to larger, more expensive, health complications down the line.
    $20 DONATION
  • Pay for one month of pet food for an animal so they don't go hungry. 1 in 4 Australians living with food insecurity have pets, and will often feed their pets before themselves. People shouldn't have to make this choice, providing for their pets will help to keep humans and their animals together.
    $50 DONATION
  • Help us continue to offer Free Grooming Support for a cat or dog so they are not at risk of being surrendered or living in pain due to having matted fur.
    $150 DONATION
  • Cover Behavioural Support we offer to lessen the risk of animals being surrendered. Behavioural reasons are one of the leading causes of animals being surrendered and the leading reason for euthanasia in pounds and shelters.
    $250 DONATION

These donations directly fuel our Paws & Provisions outreach program, providing free pet food & supplies to people in need. Learn more about how your donations help here.

Please do not donate aversive training tools such as slip leads, choke collars, prong collars, spray collars - we are a force free animal welfare organisation and strive to ensure all animals are treated humanely. 

We accept cat & dog food, toys, beds, collars, carriers at our donation bin locations across Melbourne.  

Please note we do not accept any bedding or pillows.
